Exciting Changes Happening at Starbucks in EPCOT!

A new Starbucks store is set to open in Disney Springs, providing a delightful coffee experience for guests and shoppers alike.

Starbucks Near Refreshment Port Undergoes a Makeover

If you visit EPCOT at Walt Disney World, you might see something new around Starbucks near Refreshment Port. There are some green walls built around it, which means they are doing some work inside the Starbucks. This Starbucks was first built as a temporary shop back in 2019, so it looks like it’s getting a little makeover!

What’s Happening to the Starbucks Location?

The walls are a soft green color and not too tall, so it’s probably just a little repair or update. Also, the big Starbucks sign with the green siren logo has been taken down for now, but don’t worry – the Starbucks is still open! You can still visit the Refreshment Port nearby, and it’s not affected by the construction.

Other Exciting Updates at EPCOT

While the Starbucks is getting a makeover, there are also other cool updates happening at EPCOT. One exciting change is that the popcorn stand in World Discovery is back open after being closed for two months. The stand now has a shiny silver roof and looks great next to the MISSION: Space ride.

Big Plans for EPCOT’s Future

EPCOT is also getting even better with new things being built, like the CommuniCore Hall, a new water adventure based on the movie Moana, and the removal of the old Harmonious barges in the World Showcase Lagoon. The barges were removed after the last show of Harmonious, which happened in April.

The New CommuniCore Hall: A Hub for Fun and Creativity

There are big plans for the new CommuniCore Hall. It will have lots of fun things like a place to meet Mickey and his friends, a kitchen for cooking shows, a place to make cool drinks, and even a space for art. This will be a place for guests to enjoy during EPCOT’s festivals.

Journey of Water: A Moana-Inspired Attraction

Another exciting project is the Journey of Water, inspired by the Moana movie. It’s almost ready and will open later this year, along with other new areas in the park.
